The '86 is a driver's car. I had a 2023 AT6 Base, which was very nice, but the MT6 is what I really wanted. Found one 1500 miles away from my home, and bought it. The 86 (and the Miata for that matter) are drivers cars. They're built to have the driver feel really engaged to what's happening on the road. They're incredibly fun on twisty roads, you can push them much more on turns than you can in other sports cars that are heavier.
